Make the most of your visit!
(OR “What to expect WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING TO SEE A GREAT SHOW!”)
Where should I park?
Lakeshore Players Theatre has free onsite parking as well as additional parking on Long Avenue. We recommend carpooling when possible to ensure spots for everyone, especially during matinee performances.
do you have CONCESSIONS?
A variety of drinks and snacks are for sale at our concession stand in the lobby. Our concessions window takes cash or credit card. Concessions are allowed to be consumed in the OSilas Mainstage Theatre. Depending on the performance, sometimes concessions are not permitted in the Royal Credit Union Foundation Black Box Theatre.
IS THE THEATRE COLD?
Theatre spaces do tend to run on the cooler side, so we recommend bringing a layer. Coat check will be available for Mainstage performances during the chillier seasons.
Does this show contain sensitive material? Is it appropriate for younger audiences? How long is the performance?
These are all great questions! They can be answered by visiting our individual show pages. Along with cast and crew information, we’ll list any appropriate information there as soon as we know it!
I require accessible seating, or another accessibility offering, can Lakeshore accommodate me?
We absolutely can. We have many different accessibility offerings. Please click here to see more information and dates for our offerings. You are also welcome to call our box office to talk through any requests or needs you might have!
How much are tickets? Where can I find ticket discounts?
For our concerts and mainstage theatre shows tickets range from $15 for students (18 & younger) to $50 for adults. Ticket prices are dynamic, meaning that they may increase for peak shows or seats, particularly as we get closer to a show. A $3 facilities fee is added to each ticket purchased. This facilities fee ensures that the Hanifl Performing Arts Cneter may continue to thrive as a community space.
The best deal on tickets is to become a subscriber. There are many options available for this. We also host a Pay-What-You-Want performance for many of our Mainstage theatre productions. These dates are indicated on the ticket sales page. Instructions for completing a Pay-What-You-Want ticket purchase can be found on the “Learn More” pages for each show. Also, keep your eye on our newsletters and social media pages as we occasionally offer single-ticket promotions. Lakeshore Players does not use any third-party vendors for ticket sales. Please purchase your tickets directly through our website or by calling our box office at (651) 478-7427.
CAN I GET A REFUND OR EXCHANGE MY TICKET?
All ticket sales are final; we are unable to offer refunds. Any unused tickets may be turned into the Box Office before any performance and be processed as a donation for a tax-deductible donation receipt. Ticket exchanges are available, but must be made at least 24 hours in advance of purchased performance. An exchange fee may be incurred. Tickets cannot be exchanged for a different production and are not available for concerts or special events. In the event of a missed performance, single tickets cannot be exchanged after the assigned performance date.
WHAT ABOUT CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER or other reasons?
As a general rule, we live by the motto that “the show must go on!” Occasionally, however, a performance must be canceled, usually due to inclement weather. In the event of inclement weather or other emergency that requires us to cancel a performance, the Box Office will email ticket holders with their options. Announcements will also be on the website homepage, social media sites, and, in most cases, on the box office voicemail message.
We will make every effort to alert patrons to cancellations as soon as possible. The decision regarding whether or not to cancel will be made by 2 hours before show time at the very latest. If this occurs tickets will be exchangeable or refundable, with refunds given in the form of credit on the ticket purchaser’s account.
SHould I come on opening night?
Opening night is a great time to see a show! If you are joining us on an Opening Night, be sure to stay for our post-show reception.
we’d love to eat somewhere before the show, do you have any recommendations?
